I wanted to share something that just happened… one of those things that really makes me feel so lucky to be able to do what I do and truly help people on a lasting and pure level. Hank (name has been changed) is an 81 year old man with Neuropathy, a painful condition which causes pain, tingling, and/or numbness in the hands and/or feet. He has been suffering from this for years, living his life just trying to manage the pain. He is on daily high doses of prescription pain medication. He came to see me for an Energy Healing and Reiki session, with much resistance, as a gift. He told me immediately that he does not believe in this stuff. (One of the cool things about energy work by the way is that people don’t have to believe in it. It’s like gravity. Gravity is a law of the universe and is working on us even if we aren’t aware of it or know about it).
I had him lay on the table, fully clothed, face up, and asked him to just close his eyes. After an hour of giving him a “hands-on” energy healing, I had to wake him up to tell him it was done. He sat up slowly, said he had fallen into a deep sleep, and that he did feel relaxed and rested upon waking. He said “thank you for trying, but as I said, I don’t believe in this stuff, “and was on his way.
Hank called me the following night to tell me that in 10 years he had never forgotten to take his pain killers… that the intense pain he felt in his body was a constant reminder to take it… and that for the first time in 10 years, he realized that he hadn’t taken his pain meds for 24 hours, and that he still wasn’t in any pain! No meds, no pain… He was shocked. In his words: “there must be something to this Reiki stuff.”
This is just one example of numerous cases from my private practice where relief has come so quickly, substantially, and significantly.
